Digging deep to discover what’s important to you, your needs, your life goals, purpose and eventual transition to self-acceptance.

Coaching that goes deeper than tips and hacks

My approach to coaching isn't about giving you another list of ADHD hacks to try.

Because you've probably tried plenty of those already.

I want to help you understand your brain, your nervous system and yourself — so that the things we discover together become tools you can keep using long after coaching finishes.

We start with the foundations

Before we start trying to organise your diary, fix your to-do list or make you more productive, we look underneath what's happening.

We explore things like regulation, emotions, needs and values.

What regulates you? What dysregulates you? What does your brain need? What matters to you? What happens when those needs aren't being met?

Because executive functioning doesn't exist separately from the rest of you.

Then we understand how your brain actually gets going

I look at executive functioning from two sides.

First, what switches your brain on?

ADHD brains don't always respond to importance in the way we're told they should. So we explore your individual activation system — what creates engagement, motivation and momentum for your brain.

Then we look at the actual executive functioning skills underneath the things you're finding difficult: planning, prioritising, working memory, attention, organisation, task initiation, time, transitions and managing multiple demands.

Instead of repeatedly asking yourself "Why can't I just do this?", we get curious about what is making it difficult and what your brain needs to make it easier.

We make space for the impact of late diagnosis

For many of the people I work with, discovering they are ADHD, Autistic or AuDHD later in life brings relief but it can also bring grief.

There can be a lot to unpack.

The years spent believing you were lazy, too sensitive, disorganised, difficult, not trying hard enough or somehow just getting life wrong.

The masking. The burnout. The missed opportunities. The "what if I'd known?"

Where it's relevant, we can gently explore that history, including the impact of trauma, shame and the grief that can come with finally understanding yourself through a completely different lens.

Getting to know yourself — perhaps properly for the first time

A huge part of my work is helping you separate who you actually are from who you've learned you need to be.

We explore your patterns, strengths, needs, boundaries, energy, emotions and the things that make you light up.

Over time, the aim is not just to understand yourself better, but to start trusting yourself again.

Tools for life, not just hacks for this week

Of course we'll develop practical strategies. But I don't want you to leave coaching dependent on me or carrying another collection of hacks that work brilliantly for three weeks and then disappear.

I want you to understand why something works.

When you understand what is happening in your brain, what your nervous system needs and what sits underneath a difficulty, you can adapt the tools yourself when life changes.

That's the goal.

Not to make you better at pretending your brain works differently.

But to give you the understanding, confidence and tools to work with the brain you actually have and access more of the brilliant person who's been there all along.

Please get in touch if you have any questions at all.
